World Premiere: TIBUS Bolt-on portals for the new Mercedes Benz G-wagon

In April 2019, TIBUS Offroad Engineering presented its bolt-on portals for the new Mercedes G 463A series

After several months of development, we were able to present a new Mercedes G-wagon 463A on TIBUS bolt-on portals for the first time at the end of April. Together with a new Suzuki Jimny, the revised successor to the globally proven “G-wagon” completed its first rounds on TIBUS bolt-on portals in the Offroadpark Torgau in Germany. In combination with the significantly larger tires compared to the series, the outstanding characteristics of the prototype were demonstrated in difficult terrain. Also on the subsequent test driving on German Autobahn and highways the vehicle impressed with its directional stability and performance.
