YAKIMA® – HIGHROLLER ROOF BIKE RACK

Mercedes G Class 2008, HighRoller Roof Bike Rack for Naked Roof by Yakima®. Carry virtually any bike on your roof rack with Yakima’s top of the line upright bike carrier. The HighRoller accommodates bikes up to 50 lbs., with 20″ to 29″ wheels and tire widths up to 3″, including bikes with disc brakes, thru axles and full suspension. The bike is transported gripping the front wheel, so there’s no risk of damaging the frame or finish. It’s quick and easy to load, with no tools required and no need to remove the front wheel, and it will hold the bike upright while it’s secured to the carrier. The HighRoller comes ready to attach to round and square crossbars, but will fit on factory and aero crossbars with Yakima MightyMounts (sold separately).

For a bike rack to be considered premium it should be easy to install and load, capable of carrying virtually any bike to your destination safely and securely, and look good doing it. The HighRoller Roof Bike Rack comes through on all counts, which is why it’s Yakima’s top of the line upright bike carrier. It installs quickly and easily to round and square roof rack crossbars, with no tools required. And if you have factory or aero crossbars, the HighRoller installs just as simply with Yakima MightyMounts (sold separately).

To load a bike, just place the front wheel in the front hoop and the rear wheel on the tray. There’s no need to remove the front wheel, and the bike will stay upright, leaving your hands free to secure the front and rear wheel to the carrier. And since there’s no contact with the bike’s frame, there’s no need to worry about damage to the bike’s finish. Bike mounting couldn’t be any simpler: The front hoop wheel grip is calibrated for tire size, and after inserting the tire the rear hoop is raised into position. Turn the adjustment knob to compress the rear hoop against the tire, pull the strap through the rear wheel and ratchet it tight, secure the frame to the carrier with the cable lock that slides out of the rack frame, and you can be on your way. The HighRoller can transport any bike, from road bikes to BMXers, mountain bikes to kids’ bikes, as long as it weighs less than 50 lbs., has tire diameters between 20″ and 29″, and tire widths not exceeding 3″. It also accommodates disc brakes, thru axles, and full suspension.

The HighRoller has a sleek design with a mirror black finish, so it will look great on your roof loaded or unloaded. When the rack is unloaded both hoops can be folded down for better aerodynamics and for additional roof clearance. When the bike is removed the integral cable lock can be used to lock the carrier to the crossbar.

Comprehensive, illustrated installation/user instructions are included with the HighRoller Roof Bike Rack. The cable lock accepts an SKS (Same Key System) core (sold separately) so it can be set up to use the same key as other Yakima accessories. The rack is covered by a limited lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.
