The 27″ x 39.25″ x 2″ basket is perfect for smaller loads, and features a low profile that helps with overhead clearance on taller vehicles. This vinyl dipped, welded 1/4″ steel wire basket comes ready to mount to round and square crossbars and can be mounted to factory or aero bars with Yakima MightyMounts.

If you’re on a budget and only have need for a cargo basket occasionally, the BasketCase Roof Cargo Basket is the carrier for you. Its 27″ x 39.25″ x 2″ dimensions are perfect for smaller loads, but it still has enough capacity to help your get gear up on the roof so there’s more room inside your vehicle for passengers or more gear. A cargo basket is really great for odd-size items that can be difficult to secure on a roof by themselves. Load them into the basket and secure with the optional cargo net and you can be on your way. An additional advantage of the BasketCase is its low profile. If you have a tall vehicle and experience overhead clearance problems, the BasketCase may be a carrier you can live with.

Manufactured from welded 1/4″ steel wire that’s been vinyl dipped to prevent rust, the BasketCase comes with mounts for round and square crossbars, which must be between 12″ and 40″ to install the basket. It can be attached to factory and aero crossbars using Yakima MightyMounts.

The BasketCase Roof Cargo Basket comes with hardware and detailed, illustrated installation instructions. It’s backed by a limited lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.
