The carrier’s wide mouth J-profile makes loading and unloading easy enough for one person and the steel construction is sturdy enough to carry a kayak up to 34″ wide and 75 lbs. The J-style carriers also don’t take up a lot of space on your roof rack, so there’s room left for other Thule accessories.

The padding on the J-style carriers is adjustable to ensure your kayak is protected during transport, and the tubing and hardware are rust resistant to ensure a long service life. Straps are included to secure one kayak, but up to 2 carriers can be installed per vehicle. The Hull-a-Port Pro allows you to fold it down when not in use. This means you won’t have to take the carrier off to enjoy increased overhead clearance and improved fuel economy.

The Hull-a-Port Kayak Carrier comes with everything necessary for installation, including detailed instructions. The limited lifetime warranty applies to the original purchaser of the product, and warrants the product against manufacturer’s defects in materials or workmanship.
