Mercedes G500 2008, MAP Sensor by Bosch®. MAP sensors are used to measure inlet manifold pressure indicating engine load. An MAP sensor or a manifold absolute pressure sensor measures the absolute pressure in the intake manifold and compares it with a reference vacuum, which enables the air mass to be precisely defined.
