The codes can be cleared from the steering wheel every time the vehicle is started. The first photo of the grey G63 is with 33″ tires. The other 3 photos show 35″ tires.
Installation:
1. Remove rear brake lines and install supplied extended rear brake lines
2. Next with a pole jack supporting the rear axle remove both rear shocks. You can do them one at a time as well. Keep both OEM mounting bolts because you will be reusing them
3. Locate this Large round hole on both sides of the rear frame mounts
4. Using supplied M12 outsert install the insert onto your tool and install in rear into OEM frame hole location. This will be your Shock relocation mounting hole. Repeat steps for both sides in rear
5. Next install the shock relocation bracket. You will use the supplied bolt to attach the bracket to the OEM mounting location and reuse the OEM bolt to install the shock back onto the new relocation bracket
6. Now place the large rear round spring spacer on the rear axle. You will need to remove the OEM plastic spring mount first.
7. You need to use small cutters to remove the tabs along the inside of the plastic springs seat. this will allow you installation onto the new spring spacer on rear.
8. Now reinstall OEM spring seat onto the new spacer.
9. Install the provided lift springs next
10. The front is pretty straightforward…remove front struts and install supplied lift springs. After installation of front springs install our upper strut extension bracket. The side with the nutsert faces upwards. We changed the design since this photo was posted to simplify the install when putting strut back in.
11. Install the mount and reuse the OEM nuts to bolt the bracket down. You will need to clock the upper strut mount so they line up with the chassis again.
12. Using the 6 supplied flanged M10 bolts. Bolt the struts in from the top.
13. Tip: Axle nut and axle must be remove and spindle will need to be swung out of the way along with brake caliper to remove and install strut back into place.
14. Alignment is needed when done.
