4″ Lift Kit for Mercedes G-class W463

The 4″ lift kit that allows you to easily fit 35″ tires. With the 4″ kit, geometry changes quite a bit, so you we need to account for changes in caster and the position of the axles.  Most G500, G550, and G63 AMG customers are running a 35 x 12.5 (18″, 20″, 22″, or 24″), so wheel spacers are required in the front to avoid rubbing (customers space out the rear at the same time, even though it’s not required for clearance).  We have put together a “complete” 4-inch lift kit for Mercedes G500, G550, G55, G63, and G65 vehicles that will raise the vehicle, center the axles, and restore the caster necessary to keep the vehicle tracking properly at speed.

Includes:
1.  ROGUE Lift Springs
– Lift and level the vehicle ~3″ in Front and ~2: in the Rear.

2.  30mm Polyurethane Spring Spacers
– Used with the ROGUE Springs, sitting between the spring and spring perch, to give you an extra 1.18″ of lift.

3.  ROGUE 2.0 Adjustable Shocks
– With remote reservoir offer outstanding on and off-road performance.

4.  Fox Steering Stabilizer
– Heavy-duty steering damper helps the turn and control the larger, heavier tires. Many customers have installed to get rid of reported “death wobble.”

5.  Caster Correction Kit/Radius Arms
– When lifting the vehicle 4″, you are twisting the axle from it’s center point, which reduces caster, which adversely affects handling.  The Radius Arms correct the caster that was lost when the vehicle was raised, which translates to high speed safety, stability, and tracking.  Without the Radius Arms to correct caster, the vehicle will wander all over the road at speed, and make it difficult (or even scary) to drive.  Note: A core charge of $1650 will be billed separately. Refunded upon receipt of your original OEM arms in good condition.

6.  Adjustable Panhard/Track Bars
– With a suspension lift this aggressive, the G-wagen’s axles are moved off-center, which pushes the wheels out on one side of the vehicle.  These adjustable panhard bars, also known as track bars, will allow you to re-center the front and rear axles.  The front axle moves off-center quite a bit, so this front track bar is included.  The rear axle doesn’t move nearly as much, so you can decide on the rear track bar after installing the kit and getting an alignment or taking a measurement.

7.  Wheel Spacers
– Depending on offset and tire size, wheel spacers might be required to avoid rubbing.  If the spacers are necessary on your set up, you would only need them in the front, but most clients choose to space out the rear wheels at the same time.  Almost every customer needs them for clearance, plus the wider stance is welcome. 2 sets are included.

*Notes: 1) Kit price does not include core charge which will be billed separately. 2) Height may vary by year, model, motor, and accessories installed. 3) Although it is a known issue when installing tires with an overall diameter much larger than stock, to date, we have not had any significant issues with ABS or ESP.

OPTIONAL EQUIPMENT

Shock Upgrade for 4″ Lift Kit:
DTD-spec KING 2.5″ Adjustable Shocks with remote reservoir offer the best on and off-road performance. Many G63 owners install these shocks with no lift kit to get a much more compliant ride than stock.

Steering Stabilizer Bar Shock:
If you upgrade to the 2.5″ King Shocks with this kit, then you will probably want the matching KING Steering Stabilizer Stock with standard blue hardware or custom black anodizing.

Panhard/Track Bars:
The front bar is included in the kit. The rear axle doesn’t move nearly as much as the front, so we’ve made the adjustable rear track bar optional. We recommend deciding on this part after installing the kit and taking measurements.

Stainless Steel Brake Lines:
DTD Stainless Steel Brake Lines, Extended – Front.  Longer brakes lines may be required with a 4” lift, 2-pcs.

DTD Stainless Steel Brake Lines, Extended – Rear.  Longer brakes lines are required with a 4” lift, 3-pcs. (brakes and locker).
