3″ Lift Kit for Mercedes G-class W463 with Rogue Springs & Öhlins Adjustable Shocks
Öhlins Adventure – A unique Combination of On and Off-Road Performance
This kit is based on the well proven Öhlins 16/46 shock absorbers using a 16mm piston shaft in combination with a 46mm piston. The shock absorber as an extended stroke, compared to the MEV MS46, to be used with optional lift springs. The kit has been tested by Öhlins on several different roads and surfaces to find the best setting for comfort as well as highest possible performance in regards of car handling.
With Öhlins Road & Track coil overs you will experience a car with blistering response times, improved bump absorption and a massive amount of grip to increase the safety when driving your car on the limit. The car will be easier to balance on the edge of what the tires can handle before losing grip. You will be much quicker on track. The DFV suspension prevents you from losing the racing line when hitting bumps or curbs. The DFV components within react quickly and keeps you in control of the car and in contact with the track. When driving to and from the track, just set the dampers in road mode for a more relaxed and comfortable drive, still with more grip and quicker response time than ever before.
These are the same shocks that are original equipment on the Mercedes G65 AMG 6×6.

1. Springs – ROGUE Springs lift the vehicle 70mm Front and 50mm Rear which provides enough clearance for 35″ tires, while leveling out the vehicle.**
**Springs are on Backorder with no ETA, so we are using ARB Springs and a 20mm Spring Spacer to lift / level the front — and it’s working just as well or better!

2. Shocks – Öhlins Adjustable Shocks with remote reservoir and compression/rebound adjustment offer better on and off-road performance than your stock shocks.

3. Caster Correction Kit – When lifting the vehicle 2″, you are twisting the axle from it’s center point, which reduces caster, which in turn affects handling. The caster bushing kit restores your caster for better handling and stability.

OPTIONAL EQUIPMENT:
Wheel Spacers – Depending on offset and tire size, wheel spacers might be required to avoid rubbing. In general, if you are running a stock wheel or custom wheel with a stock width/offset, and tires with a width of 12.5, you will need 31mm spacers. Or, for a more balanced look front to rear, 31mm front and 40mm rear.
Steering Stabilizer Shock – Fox steering stabilizer shock is much larger than the stock part to assist with damping on the larger, wider, heavier tires.
The Fox & King Steering Stabilizer Shocks are much larger than stock, so they will rub on the tie rod. The Tech/Mechanic can use a bushing or modify the mount to move the Stabilizer away from the tie rod. Or you can purchase one or both brackets to give the Stabilizer more clearance. These are not required, but do make installation a bit easier.
