The Brabus 900 Rocket Edition
The Brabus 900 Rocket Edition is one of the most powerful G-Wagons on the market today. It was designed to make an impression, and it definitely does that. With a twin-turbocharged V8 engine that produces 900 horsepower, this car can go from 0 to 60 in just 3.7 seconds. Plus, it has a top speed of 174 mph! If you’re looking for a vehicle that will stand out wherever you go, and you have the money and the connections to get a hold of one, then the Brabus 900 Rocket Edition is definitely worth considering.
Brabus is a German tuning company that specializes in high-performance vehicles, and they definitely know what they’re doing. The Brabus 900 Rocket Edition is their latest creation, and it does not disappoint. This car is an absolute beast, and the looks fit the performance. It’s aggressive and powerful, yet still stylish.
The Brabus series of Rocket projects bears that name for a reason. Whether we’re talking about a model based on the Mercedes-AMG GT63 S or one based on the Mercedes-Benz S650, the Rocket series is known to offer absurd power upgrades and phenomenal acceleration.
However, the tuning company intends to build only 25 vehicles of this particular Rocket series, which is officially called the Brabus 900 Rocket Edition. On the German market, each will cost 571,270 €.
Under the hood is a heavily modified 4.0-liter V8 engine with an increased volume to 4.5 liters. With reworked turbochargers, the power is now around 900 hp, and the maximum torque is 1,250 Nm, which is electronically limited to 1,050 Nm to protect the powertrain. While the powertrain clearly has enough power to go even faster, Brabus says the tires aren’t capable of more.
Plenty of interior design upgrades were added to the luxurious beast, which perfectly fit the exterior design of the vehicle. The attention to detail appears incredible inside, with fine black leather for the four individual seats and carbon fiber trim for the instrument panel, center console, and door trims.
This purpose-built design, which was not only designed to give the SUV its extra athletic look but also its hyperspace aerodynamics, features a distinct, all-carbon front spoiler with custom side flaps that reinvents the vehicle’s iconic face while lowering the front-axle lift at higher speeds, resulting in better handling stability.
The all-new BRABUS 900 also features a rear diffuser and a roof-mounted wing that maximize the car’s overall aerodynamic capability. Basically, several exterior improvements were applied, including a rear spoiler, new aggressive bumpers, a more massive hood, and giant 24-inch wheels that are among the most noticeable on a G-Class ever.
