Brabus XLP Pickup
The German tuning company BRABUS decided to improve the already capable and luxurious model Mercedes-Benz G-Class a little more, so it created an even more perfect machine, the BRABUS 800 Adventure XLP, in the form of an extreme pickup.
It features a wider track, increased ground clearance, and a host of other off-road upgrades that enable it to tackle even the most challenging terrain.
The “base” G63 AMG served as the basis, and thanks to significant changes in terms of construction, with modifications to the suspension, this model is 68.9 cm longer, while the wheelbase is 50 cm wider than the base G63 AMG.
During the modification process, many carbon materials were used, and the suspension was changed entirely, so the distance from the ground is as much as 49 centimeters.
Under the hood is the well-known 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that, thanks to mapping and two new turbochargers, now develops 800 HP with a monstrous 1000 Nm of torque. Brabus claims that it reaches 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds, and the top speed is electronically limited to 210 km/h due to the higher center of gravity and 22-inch all-terrain tires. BRABUS states a combined fuel consumption of 14.5 l/100 km and CO₂ emissions of 345 g/km.
In the rear part of the vehicle, there is a dock for the so-called “Wingcopter,” a unique drone developed to bring food and supplies to inaccessible areas. The range of the drone alone is 120 km, and it can fly at a speed of up to 240 km/h.
Of course, the interior of the BRABUS 800 Adventure XLP is just as luxurious and unique. Each vehicle may be customized in the Brabus upholstery workshop to match the owner’s particular preferences with a refined leather interior.
The ‘First Edition’ model comes with premium leather that has been burnished to a rich ‘burned oak’ hue and contrasts nicely with the optional Rocket silver matte special body-color treatment. The seats include shell-shaped upholstery with precise perforations.
The pictures show that the upper part of the cabin is upholstered in black Alcantara. For other BRABUS 800 Adventure XLP models, customers can get every detail of the interior upholstered in almost any desired color. In addition, they can choose from a wide selection of upholstery. Aluminum components such as pedals, door lock ‘pins,’ and ergonomic paddle shifters on the steering wheel add a distinctly sporty look to the cabin.
The price of this unique vehicle starts at a symbolic 666.386 €.
